Jacquard Procion MX Navy Dye

Jacquard Procion MX Fiber Reactive Dye in navy color with color code 078 is available in a size of 2/3 oz. This dye is permanent, colorfast, and highly washable, allowing you to easily create a wide range of vibrant colors from light pastels to deep, rich hues. It is ideal for use on all natural fibers such as cotton, rayon, linen, silk, wool, paper, reeds, and wood, but will not work on synthetics.

This dye can be used for various techniques including tie-dye, vat dyeing, batik, airbrushing, hand painting, printing, spatter-painting, and more. To use, simply add this concentrated dye to tap water for brilliant color results. Typically, 1 tablespoon of dye per 1 pound of fabric (equivalent to three to six square yards or three T-shirts) is recommended for best results.

For long-lasting results, store the dyes in a closed container in a cool, dry place to maintain their usability for several years. In addition, the chemicals necessary for the dyeing process such as Soda Ash, Dye Fixer, Urea, a humectant, Sodium Alginate, a thickener, and Synthrapol, a mild soap, are sold separately.
