Permanent, colorfast, and highly washable, this Jacquard Procion MX Fiber Reactive Dye in bright scarlet is perfect for creating a wide range of vibrant colors, from light pastels to deep and rich hues. Ideal for use on natural fibers such as cotton, rayon, linen, silk, wool, paper, reeds, and wood, this dye will not work on synthetics.

Versatile and easy to use, this concentrated dye can be used for various dyeing techniques such as tie-dye, vat dyeing, batik, airbrushing, hand painting, printing, spatter-painting, and more. Simply add the dye to tap water to achieve brilliant and long-lasting color results.

Each 2/3 oz. jar of dye is typically used at a ratio of 1 tablespoon per pound of fabric, which is equivalent to three to six square yards of material or three T-shirts. To ensure the longevity of the dye, store it in a sealed container in a cool and dry place, where it can remain usable for several years.

Please note that certain chemicals are required for the dyeing process and are sold separately, including Soda Ash Dye Fixer, Urea (a humectant), Sodium Alginate (a thickener), and Synthrapol (a mild soap). Be sure to follow instructions carefully and refer to warehouse group number 1373 when ordering these additional chemicals.
